dc.description.abstract The article considers the landscaping of hotel and restaurant complexes as an effective tool for implementing the principles of sustainable development and a component of environmentally friendly development of the hospitality industry. Modern scientific approaches to integrating green spaces into the spatial organization of HoReCa facilities are analysed, particularly in the context of biophilic design, ecosystem services, and the formation of a safe, ecologically balanced environment focused on improving the well-being of guests. The environmental, social, and economic benefits of greening are substantiated, including improvement of the microclimate, reduction of noise levels and air pollution, increased psycho-emotional comfort of visitors, and increased attractiveness and competitiveness of establishments. Special attention is paid to the role of greening of hotel and restaurant complexes, which is considered as complex engineering and biological solutions integrating architectural, landscape, environmental and operational aspects. Their application makes it possible not only to enhance the aesthetic attractiveness of hospitality industry facilities, but also to optimize environmental microclimatic parameters, reduce anthropogenic pressure, and increase the ecological resilience of spaces. The use of the most widespread and promising forms of contemporary greening is analysed, including vertical gardens, green roofs, modular greening systems, as well as the arrangement of green courtyards, gardens, internal atriums, and recreational areas. The implementation of greening systems in hotel and restaurant complexes should be considered as an integrated process that requires an interdisciplinary approach involving architects, landscape designers, ecologists, and building maintenance specialists. It has been identified that greening and biophilic design, as one of the key trends in the innovative development of hospitality establishments, corresponds to the growing demand for environmentally oriented services and nature-integrated anthropogenic spaces. At the same time, natural elements are regarded as a factor enhancing comfort and providing psychological relief for guests withing recreation spaces. ru
