Короткий опис(реферат):
The generalization of statistical data for 2010–2024 indicates that grain maize production in the Czech Republic is characterized by significant variability in sown areas (64–121 thousand ha) and gross output (0.44–1.06 million tons), determined by both agroclimatic and economic factors. At the same time, yield levels in most years exceed the European and global averages, confirming the high technological potential of the sector and the effectiveness of the applied agronomic practices. The main constraining factors remain climatic risks, market volatility, and rising production costs. Therefore, the further development of grain maize production in the Czech Republic should be based on a combination of climate adaptation measures, active implementation of innovations, and improved efficiency in the use of land, water, and material resources, which will ensure the long-term stability and competitiveness of the sector.
