dc.description.abstract In the context of globalization and European integration, intercultural communication has become a vital and strategic component of international cooperation, diplomacy, education, and public administration. This article explores the complex, multidimensional nature of intercultural communication, emphasizing both the challenges and opportunities that arise in today’s dynamic global environment. Special attention is paid to Ukraine’s integration into the European Union and the corresponding need to align communication practices with European values, standards, and socio-political expectations. The study identifies a broad spectrum of barriers to effective intercultural interaction, including linguistic challenges, cultural stereotypes and prejudices, misinterpretation of non-verbal signals, psychological stress from adaptation, ethical differences, and inequalities in access to information and digital platforms. ru
