dc.description.abstract	The paper examines the results of the scientific research on the issues of the development prospects of ecological farming in the South of Ukraine. It has been established that the area of farmlands in Ukraine is constantly decreasing. Over the past years the area of farmlands in Ukraine has decreased by almost 500 thousand hectares. Ukraine takes the 18th place among the countries which produce environmentally friendly crops. According to the data of the International Statistics the area under biological farming makes 164.5 thousand hectares.	ru
