dc.description.abstract In the article we have analyzes the influence of the intensity of external water exchange on the formation of the species composition of spring zooplankton on the example of different floodplain lakes of the lower reaches of the Dnieper. Based on data from expeditionary research in the spring of 2016-2020 a rather close correlation was found between the number of planktonic organisms of the taxonomic groups Rotatoria and Cladocera with the period of external water exchange in the reservoirs of the study region. The obtained data can serve as a diagnostic characteristic in seasonal or specialized monitoring studies of floodplain lakes of the lower reaches of the Dnieper. ru
