Abstract

Currently, native heavy draft breed horses need not only systematic selection development, but also a well-thought-out program to popularize the horse breeding industry, in particular, to reorient heavy draft breeds from the working and productive to the user segment. It is necessary to consider the experience of European colleagues - festivals, shows, broods, activity on the Internet, interaction with the media and, finally, personal examples of the active use of heavy trucks in equestrian life. Due to their calm and balanced nature, heavy draft horses have become very popular for the beginner training, performing in the circus arena, horse riding, equestrian tourism and sports, including dressage and driving. The positive aspects of the development of heavy draft horse breeding also lie in the prospects to improve the quality of horse breeding, overcoming unemployment in rural areas.
