Abstract:
The reduction of foraging areas together with the deterioration of breeding conditions of semi-permeable fish and fish of the lake-river complex caused a change in the qualitative and quantitative composition of industrial catches of the Dnieper-Bug estuary, negatively affected the fish productivity of its reservoirs.
Bream, along with ram, herbivores and silver carp in recent years has always been in the top five most valuable industrial sites in the Lower Dnieper. The maximum catch of bream within the Lower Dnieper for the last 10 years was observed at the beginning of the century and reached 33.31 - 39.47 tons. But after ten years in 2010 - 2018 the catch of this valuable industrial facility decreased by almost two times and did not exaggerate in 15.16 - 17.83 tons. At the same time, the analysis of the main biological indicators of bream in catches showed a significant decrease in recent years.
