Analysis of possible negative environmental and socio-economic consequences of freshwater drain reduction to the Dnieper-Bug mouth region

Abstract

The article analyzes the main tendencies of changes in the Dnieper-Bug mouth region water salinity. The reasons for the increase in water salinity in the aquatic ecosystems of the region were identified and conclusions were drawn regarding the possible negative environmental and socio-economic consequences of these changes.
