dc.description.abstract This article analyzes the key components of the philosophical aspects of the ethics of scientific research, as this topic is becoming increasingly relevant in the context of modern technological development. In today’s world, ethical issues related to scientific research encompass a wide range of concerns, including the moral responsibility of scientists, the nature of truth, the limits of scientific knowledge, and their impact on Ukrainian society. A philosophical perspective reflects the moral principles of researchers, their responsibility to society, issues of objectivity, and the influence of ethics on the advancement of scientific knowledge. The aim of this study is to examine the ethical foundations of scientific activity from a philosophical standpoint and to identify key moral aspects that modern society and science face today. The research methodology includes a comparative analysis of philosophical concepts of scientific ethics, the historical-logical method to trace the evolution of ethical norms in past scientific developments, and an interdisciplinary approach to explore the interconnections between science, morality, and society. The main findings of the study indicate that the ethics of science is shaped by philosophical traditions, societal demands, and technological progress. We have identified the major moral dilemmas in scientific activity, including issues of integrity, the responsible use of modern technologies and research outcomes, and ethical constraints imposed on scientists. The contemporary world raises numerous ethical questions, such as the use of genetic technologies and the development of artificial intelligence systems, all of which require philosophical reflection on the boundaries of what is permissible and encourage the search for a balance between technological progress and moral security. The conclusions emphasize the need to establish clearer ethical standards for scientific activity, implement mechanisms to ensure compliance with research ethics, and foster ongoing philosophical reflection on the consequences of scientific discoveries for the future of society. ru
