E-Sports in the Student Environment: the Struggle for Survival in Ukrainian Realities

Abstract

In modern Ukraine, esports has already gained and continues to gain great popularity among young people, especially since it received the status of a sport in 2017 and the status of a National Sport in 2020. In January 2021, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine officially approved the general rules of esports, which were developed by the Ukrainian Esports Federation (UESF) with the support of the ministry's specialists.
