В статті відображено результати досліджень собак породи середньо – азіатська вівчарка, які утримуються аматорами м. Херсона. Розглянуто дані оцінки собак різних систем розведення за напрямами агресивної поведінки та основними промірами. Досліджене поголів’я мало оптимальні параметри росту та костистості, високий рівень агресії до людей та собак. Суки відрізнялися незначно меншою агресивністю та більш високою схильністю до охорони території.
The article reflects the results of studying of the breeding of Central Asian shepherd dogs contained by amateurs of the city of Kherson. The data of evaluation of dogs of different systems of breeding according to directions of the aggressive behavior and basic measures are considered. The studied population had the optimal parameters of growth and bony index, a high level of aggression to humans and dogs. Females differed by less aggression and the higher propensity to territory protection.
