| dc.description.abstract | Provided that a professional-oriented approach to foreign language learning is implemented, vocabulary consolidation exercises are the most effective, as they are communicatively oriented and correspond to the students' level of knowledge and their practical needs. Students must master the skills of writing a resume, a profile-oriented text, a popular science article, writing an essay or speaking at a scientific conference. In the initial stages of learning, students understand the text only after translation or careful analysis. That is why, before each lesson, the teacher should plan work with the text, identify the most difficult points, main lexical and grammatical features, prepare a set of exercises to facilitate reading.
