Retrospective analysis and forecast of the main abiotic factors of the environmental conditions of ichtyofauna of the Dnipro-Buh estuary ecosystem

Abstract

Modern data of the main abiotic factors of functioning of the Dnipro-Buh estuarial ecosystem are presented. The abiotic parameters for long-term periods are compared: before the regulation of the lower reaches of the Dnipro River (1877-1970), after the regulation (1948-1970), the period of the run-off formation (1986-2013) and the indicators of the modern period (2010-2020). The forecast of the main ecologically significant factors of the environment in the research region is made. The obtained results can be used in the formation of the long-term forecasts of the leading abiotic parameters, the state of the ichthyofauna environment, the indicators of biological productivity, fish productivity and determination of the rate of production and destruction processes and eutrophication.
